Meet the dedicated and experienced event planners. Shenettra and Jasmine Reed are a mother daughter duo from Houston, Texas who are taking the event planning world by storm with their new company, House of Eventz.
The dynamic duo successfully launched its event planning business on August 19, 2021. As entrepreneurs, the duo understands the unique challenges of executing elegant and memorable events. They're journey as event planners has equipped them with the creativity and resilience to provide exceptional events.
"Working with my daughter is rewarding on so many levels", says mom. Not only do I have a front-row seat to her growth and success, but I have her companionship and am able to share in her life to a degree that would make many mothers envious. I would only recommend this type of partnership for other mothers and daughters if they're able to respect each other's boundaries. "Working with my mom is quite challenging at times", says Jasmine. I have to remind her that I am a partner and not her daughter. The most important thing is to be able to recognize each other's abilities and capitalize on those strengths.
The duo agrees that moms can be everything in times of need--however; in the same vein, daughters are the extension of a new generation; paving the way forward to the future. Cohesively, this mother daughter duo shares a passion for the business; and this dichotomy proves to be a recipe for SUCCESS!
